Mother’s Day Gift Idea: Memory Scrapbook
Are you looking to gift your mom, grandmother, or any lady in your life with a creative and special gift for mother’s day? I think a scrapbook would be the perfect present! Who wouldn’t love a collection of memories that are shared throughout a scrapbook? I always thought scrapbooks were the cutest thing ever but never made the time to actually make one myself. It wasn’t until Nova’s birthday, when my best friend gifted me with the most beautiful and perfect scrapbook a mommy could ask for. Thanks Avery! My mom saw the scrapbook and immediately wanted one for herself so I thought it would be perfect to make her one for Mother’s Day.
So if you're not familiar with how to make one, I'll share some of the steps.
Step 1: You will need to purchase a scrapbook from an arts and crafts store. I purchased mine from Michaels, but you can get one from Hobby Lobby, Wal-Mart, or Michaels.
Step 2: Gather photos that you would like to put in your scrapbook. My friend printed out different size photos which made the layout look even better, so I did the same.
Step 3: Michael's and other arts and craft stores have different inserts and stickers that you can put in the scrapbook to make it decorative and pretty.
Step 4: You can also use old cards as inserts to bring out the scrapbook.
Step 5: Get some construction paper, glue, and scissors and begin the scrapbook process! Pretty simple, but it can take a minute to put the whole project together. It's really fun though, grab some wine and enjoy the time and make it your own. I'm sure your loved one will love it, it's the perfect personalized present documenting cherishing memories that are sure to bring a smile to their face. I'm looking forward to gifting this to my mom!
To all the mommy's Happy Mother's Day!
