Let me first say, if you are ever in the city of Charleston, I would highly recommend booking a stay with Hotel Emeline. This hotel exceeded my expectations and more. When you first step foot into the hotel, you are greeted with a warm welcome from the staff, who are very much accommodating throughout your whole stay. Upon your arrival, you will receive a complimentary cocktail from the front desk created by the evening mixologist. Maybe I haven't been anywhere, but I've only had arrival cocktails when I was out of the country at resorts. Honestly, I was grateful for the complimentary cocktails, that in itself is a love language. Everything about Hotel Emeline is modern, chic, and absolutely stunning. It really looks like a page out of Architectural Digest. The hotel's design reminds you of a mid-century style, extremely tranquil and sophisticated. The rooms are just the cherry on top. Spacious, comfortable, and incredibly stylish.
For this stay, I was booked in one of their beautiful suites that had two large king beds. I was amazed that the room could even have two beds and still have plenty of space. The layout and design was everything. All throughout the room were accents of velvet upholstery. The bathroom was stunning, white and black marble with accents of gold, and the shower. The shower. It’s definitely the largest shower I have ever been in, and it’s so beautiful. I think my two favorite things about the room is what I’m going to mention next. In the living area, you will find a record player with vinyls that you can switch out downstairs. I know my music lovers would enjoy that. Last but not least, if you are a coffee lover like me, each morning you can order a carafe of freshly brewed coffee and have it sent up to your room. Isn’t that the perfect way to start off your day?
Frannie and the Fox
Inside the hotel, is a very lively wood-fired Italian eatery called Frannie and the Fox. It's one of Charleston's newest restaurants that provides indoor and outdoor seating. Unfortunately, due to the weather, we were not able to dine outside but the indoor dining experience was just as amazing. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the blue crab fritters for starters, a cheese pizza for Nova, and the braised lamb rigatoni. Everything that we ordered was shareable and filling. It's the perfect spot to grab a bite to eat with friends or have a cute little date night with the beau!
Overall, the hotel is absolutely exquisite. The decor and overall aesthetic is top-tier. It makes you not even want to leave the building honestly. I could have camped out there my whole stay and I would have been perfectly fine. By far, one of my top hotel stays. I can’t wait to get back!
